NBC is back with their third installment in their Family Movie Night promo with A Walk in My Shoes. The movie stars the wonderful Nancy Travis as a high-school teacher named Tish who is struggling to keep her kids on the path to learning with limited help from the parents.

Following a car accident, she finds herself literally walking in the shoes of one of her student’s mothers. Living life for a moment as the mom of talented basketball star who is so overwhelmed with life at home that he is under-performing in school gives her the perspective Tish needs to truly help her students. It makes you think of what would happen if you could walk in someone else’s shoes for a minute to give us all some much needed compassion in today’s busy world.
