Now that the royal wedding date has been announced – it’s Friday, April 29 – people are trying to figure out if Kate Middleton and Prince William are getting married on Good Friday 2011. Is the royal wedding date on Good Friday 2011?
Nope. A quick glance at the 2011 calendar shows that Easter 2011 is on April 24, and Good Friday is two days before that, on April 22. The couple chose a date one week later than Good Friday.
They will be married at Westminster Abbey, where Prince William attended the funeral of his mother, Princess Diana, 13 years ago. Wonder who will be on the massive guest list. Any ideas?
