Royal Wedding Date at Westminster Abbey Has British Brides Upset
The Royal Wedding date has been set for April 29th, 2011 at Westminster Abbey! Now that the Royal Wedding date has been set, British brides who also picked April 29th, 2011, as their wedding date are devastated because Kate Middleton will steal their wedding day thunder.
One beaming bride, 28-year old Anna Whitcomb said of the Royal Wedding date, “I’m supposed to be the princess, and now I have a real princess to compete with.”
Anna also added, “If their (Prince William and Kate Middleton) wedding was on my wedding day, I don’t know what I would do! I know all my family members and guests would want to watch the celebration and would be distracted.”
Other British brides are just as unhappy over the Royal Wedding date as Ms. Whitcomb. Those of them who will unfortunately have to share their big day with Prince William and Kate Middleton are worried that no one will come to their wedding, or that their guests will not be able to get in and out of London due to security issues.
Many people are excited that The Royal Wedding date has been set, but brides who have their wedding booked for April 29th, 2011 are likely considering moving the date.
Honestly, how can any bride compete with a real princess?
