Alex O’Loughlin: ‘Hawaii Five-O’ Hunk

Hawaii Five-O is one of the biggest hits of the 2010 TV season.  Alex O’Loughlin, the new Steve McGarrett is the reason I watch the series.  Seriously, the show could be set in Cleveland for all I care, Alex is totally dreamy.  Am I Creepy? Probably. But you know I’m right!

O’Loughlin is an Aussie but he doesn’t have an accent in the series.  You may have seen Alex in The Back-Up Plan, a recent movie he starred in opposite Jennifer Lopez.

In the latest Hawaii Five-O reboot, the stoic Steve McGarrett is a Navy Seal who was raised in Hawaii.  Steve started the elite police force, Hawaii Five-O after his father, a policeman, was killed while investigating some bad cops in his department.

In real life, Alex O’Loughlin was born in Canberra, Australia.  He studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney. Alex lives in Los Angeles and when he has time off, he likes to  ride motorcycles, go rock climbing, and playing his guitar.
